Goodbye 2010-2011 Idea book

It is time to say our final goodbye's to the current catalog.
This was a pretty card we made about a year ago using Petal Pizzazz
and All Holiday's stamp sets, the rock and roll technique
gave this card it's highlight colors.

We used this Dreams du Jour  stamp set the
very 1st open house I held as a brand new demonstrator.
That was 3 years ago, time flies, it seems like it was yesterday.

My 5 sets I will miss the most are-
Define your Life
All Holidays
Friends 24-7
Things I Love
Cheer for you

It was very hard to say goodbye to 45 stamp set on the Goodbye list,
but goodbye only means that new ones are on the way soon.
We are also going to miss the small oval punch and Elegant Soiree DSP
and hodge podge hardware.

If you have been following my blog the past 2 weeks,
here are the 5 questions for a chance to win a prize.

What Designer Series Paper did I use the most during June post?
What is the 5 set I will miss the most?
What is your favorite retiring stamp set?
How many stamp sets did I lose on the Last chance stamp list?
How many Blog post did I make during June?

Thanks for looking, Cindy

Goodbye All Holidays

This card was cased from a book cover by Robin Merriman,  I
loved her color choices and combination of the retiring Greenhouse Gala
Designer Series paper so I downsized it to make a card.
We have to say goodbye to the stamp set All Holidays on June 30th.
I will miss this set, we used it often because this set had something

Goodbye -Define your life

NO WAY!!!!
Please don't make me say goodbye, to my favorite
Stampin' Up! retiring stamp set, Define Your Life.

I love this set for lots of reasons-

1. it was my FREE stamp set I earned through Stampin Start,
a Stampin' Up! program the 1st year you become a demonstrator

2. it is nice for cards but is perfect for scrapbook pages, I have always wanted to
make a scrapbook using this set, to define my own life,
so one day my family would know how blessed  we have been

This is one stamp set I will keep for my personal use,
I am sad to have to put it on my retired stamp shelf.
It will be retired but not forgotten, I bet you
will see it surface from time to time.

This card has a few other retiring items,
Great friends and Friends 24-7 stamp sets,
Elegant Soiree and Greenhouse garden gala designer series paper.

Thanks for looking, Cindy

Happy Father's Day 2011

Happy Father's Day to my Dad!
My dad is one of the lucky ones that get to do something
almost every day he loves-  GOLF!
When I 1st seen the On the Green stamp
I knew this would be his Father's Day Card.

I tried to keep my card simple, because he is that kind of man.
I did add a little Crystal Effects to the golf ball, cut it out
and added it to the golf tee to give it a little pop.

Barry's Father's Day Card is a simple one also using the a Father's Day stamp
from one of my top 5 retiring stamp sets All Holiday's,
and Elegant Soiree Designer Series paper
that will both be gone on June 30th.

Happy Father's Day to all the DAD's !!!!

Goodbye to On the Green stamp and All Holiday's stamp set.

Thanks for looking Cindy

with a pop a great card for the men in your life.
This card was made by Julia C. with all Stampin' Up! Supplies.

Goodbye to All Holidays and a Flower for all Seasons

All Holidays is one of my top 5 retiring stamp sets, I love the size and
shapes of the 12 stamps in this set.  The best part was I usually could find
something for every card I was making so it was always my  " go to set".
This card also is using Elegant Soiree Designer Series paper that will be gone
in just a few days.  This paper is on the last chance accessories list and is
on sale $7.46 while supplies last.  25% off.
This card was cased from a beautiful card by Gretchen Barron.

A flower for all seasons has been on my wish list for about a year,
so during Sale-a-bration I jumped on the chance to get it for free
with a $50.00 Sale-a-bration order.
When I saw a card by Monica Davis I decided we just
had to make one similar to hers.
One problem, my frog looks like he had been nuked.  That's OK, you
will be able to make your frog any color of green you wish.
I kinda like my glow in the dark frog,
but he will be gone on June 30th for good.

I have given you 2 Goodbye cards today since I didn't get to post yesterday.
The tooth with issues won yesterday.

Thanks for looking, Cindy

Goodbye Simply Sent and For you Flower

Good evening ladies, it's time to say goodbye to some of my favorite Stampin' Up!
products this year.  This is always a sad time for me, having to say goodbye to
some of the stamp sets, paper and accessories I have grown to love.
It is also an exciting time of year because we are just days from
starting a new Stampin' Up! year and a brand new idea book and catalog.
Over the next 22 days I will be posting some of the products
I will miss the most.  I will be leaving clues along this journey as I share
what I am going to miss the most in a blog contest.

This year I ordered a few of the Simply Sent card kits found on pages 182 and 183
in the idea book and catalog.  These are great to have on hand to make a very fast
card because the kit includes everything except stamps to make a card and includes
envelopes.  The cost is $11.95 and has supplies for 8 cards. The picture on the larger easel
has a card design for you to follow, but I decided my card needed to have more color and
style.  I added a Fancy Flower punch, embossed with the perfect polka dots embossing folder, and
a stamped image from the For you Flower a la carte stamp on page 19.
The card kit and stamp will be gone ( retired) on June30th, give me a call or email
if you would like to place an order from the goodbye list to the right of this blog.

These Simply sent card kits make a great stamping project for your vacation
or stamping on a plane trip for those of us who need their daily stamping fix.

Thanks for looking, Cindy
