Stampin' Up Team Bat Cave Meeting

Monday, Team Bat Cave had our quarterly meeting, we discussed how we were going to move on after Sale-a-bration, How we were going to handle the Color Renovation, we had a light dinner and checked out some of the new items coming in the new Summer Mini Catalog to your home soon.  This featured card was made by newest down line Lisa Seagro using the new a la carte stamp Motorcycle, Silver Foil Smooch Spritz, and the new Specialty Designer Series paper Presto Patterns.  Lisa made her card for her husband to celebrate purchasing a new to them motorcycle ( yes it was purple).

My card used the new Pedaling Past Stamp Set, Log Cabin Smooch Spritz, Presto Patterns Specialty paper.  I love the look of the Smooch Spritz, it is a little messy you will need the new Color Catcher also available in the Summer Mini Catalog.

This card also used Stampin' Up! Twill tape, Kraft corduroy buttons, Not Quite Navy and Soft Suede card stock.

I encouraged Lisa to make her own My Why framed picture to hang in her stamping studio to remind her why she chose to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I made my framed My Why statement as part of the free Recruit Crew training Stampin' Up! is giving demonstrators with down lines over the next few months.
It helps to think back and  remember just why you chose to become a demonstrator and all the added benefit you get, the most important is the new friends you make to share your love of stamping with.

If you would like to join our group Team Bat Cave, see me to see a great reason to join now.
Receive 2 DVDs that include 37 demonstrator presentations of "WOW" techniques.(42.00 value) free

Water color Technique Class April 2010

April showers bring water color technique class to the Bat Cave.
My 1st card uses ink from the ink pad lid applied with a aqua painter to color the straw hat.  I am going to miss Bordering Blue when it retires in July, it is such a relaxing shade of blue.

My Song of Spring card was cased from someone in internet land,(I can't remember who)
it uses the Stampin' Up! water color pencils, blender pens,
Bella Blue Designer Series paper and Chocolate Chip satin 5/8" ribbon.

My 3rd card I cased from Jackie Topa, I didn't change much because it is a beautiful card.
The pansies were water colored using Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Stampin'  Write Markers.  I loved Jackies technique to make the pansies have the muted water color look, this was my 1st try I hope to get mine to look just like her's with a little more practice.
