Stamp a Stack

This card was made by my friend Molly R.
Molly needed a Birthday card instead of a sympathy or thinking of you card
we were making at this stamp a stack.  While I was cleaning up after the
class Molly made a couple of changes to this card with the stuff that was
in my clean up piles.

This was the card Molly had made earlier and wanted to switch
a few things to make a birthday card for her father.
This was a simple card that was easy to adapt to her personal needs.
This was a card I had cased, and can't find a name to give credit.

This was another Stamp a Stack card that was very easy to make
and made a simple statement.
I was afraid everyone would think this card was to simple, but I must have been
wrong because most of the ladies that attended made this one.

The stamps sets we used for this Sympathy/Thinking of you Stamp A Stack were
Stampin' Up!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!

I would like to share this Easter card I received Saturday from Cathy Curry.
Cathy used Tea Party Designer Series Paper(retired) to make her Easter Card,
don't you love the color combinations in this DSP, it says spring.
Cathy used the Embossed Quilt card technique we are learning
at classes this month to make her card.
You will be able to use this technique over and over
to make card for all occasions.

This is a card we made last year at Easter using the 2 step bird punch to make our tulips.
This was a card I cased from LeeAnn Greff and I still love it.

My blooming crocus card.
This is a cased card using the build a blossom punch,
rich razzleberry, old olive and whisper white card stock.
Sorry I don't have a name to give credit to for this great idea.

Have a wonderful Easter with family and friends,
I am looking forward to going to church with my family and

sharing lunch of Ham, Potato salad, Baked Beans,
a jello salad and a Lemon dessert.
And yes Easter Candy.

Bodacious Babes card club swaps!
This class has been together for several years, one of the fun
things they do to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and holidays is to
bring cards and small gift giving projects for each person in the group.

Here is a closer look at their creative talents.

The He has Risen card was by Karen Carpenter
if you look close you will see a cross,
(she also made the treat cup card with jelly beans)
this was not a swap card but one I received in the mail,
yes I love receiving mail too.

Thanks Karen, Darlene, Carol, Nancy, Mitzi,
Judy, Amber and Vickey for the pre Easter Class swaps.

Sorry this a day late in posting,
I spent Friday evening under the weather with a unwelcome bug.

Thanks for looking Cindy

Nature Walk and What are they doing?

Nature Walk stamp set was one of the
most beautiful in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
This was a card I cased to showcase this stamp set,
I have lost the card creators name to give them credit.
This card gives us a glimpse of spring.

This simple card also used the Nature Walk stamp set.
I first saw this done by Kay Kalthoff at Stamping to Share.
This card can be used for most occasions from birthdays to sympathy.

If you wish you had this stamp set,
don't forget the last day to order this stamp set
and or any other items from the Occasions Mini catalog is April 30th.
Call or Email me you order by the 30th.

What are they doing??????
If you want to join the fun (blowing bubbles) -  the last 2 technique classes
will be April 28th at 11am or 6pm
Please RSVP so I have enough supplies cut for you.

April 17, 2011

These are 2 of the card choices for the Sympathy/Thinking of you
Stamp a Stack that will be on Tuesday April 26th 6pm.
3 of the choices we will be using Woodland Walk Designer series paper,
garden green, confetti cream, and chocolate chip cardstock.
This card uses the Thanks for Caring stamp set from Stampin' Up!
that is in the occasions mini catalog that will retire on April 30th.
I really like this set because it has a good combination of image stamps
and greetings for your card front and inside all in one set.

This is one of the very simple cards that you can choose that
makes a statement with the Woodland Walk DSP and a small greeting.

Please RSVP  for the above class

Baby Boy Shower

These are a few of the fun stamping projects I have been working on lately.
These are for Baby Boy Nolte's baby shower.

This is the cute little onesis shower invitation
that were sent to the shower guest.
We used bashful blue, very vanilla and chocolate chip cardstock.
The puppy is from the Every Little Bit stamp set from Stampin' Up!

These matching baby bib thank you cards have a cute little puppy
waiting inside to thank the baby shower guest for their gift.

Thanks for looking

Spring Gift Giving Class

Spring Giving classes
will be making 3D items to give to our mothers,
grads and Easter table decorations.

You can chose from these fun gifts.

A pin cushion button jar for collections of buttons
you have scattered around your home or
maybe some that you received from your mother or grandmother
and you didn't know how to display.
This was cased from Monika Davis, I loved her's
and thought you might too.

This idea was from Holly Logic at ink paper stamps
using the petal cone die for the special Graduate in your life.

These Easter Bonnets
were inspired by one I saw at Leadership in Nashville
and one from Susan Dyas on Stampin' Up!
Stampin Connections gallery
for demonstrators.

A petal cone Stampin' Up! big shot die
was used to make this cute Easter Basket.
This would make very cute table favors for your Easter dinner,
I loved this idea from Becky Roberts at Inking Idaho.

This is the 3rd item we will be making from the Petal Cone Big Shot Die,
I combined all the featured from the carrot treat holders
I have seen  on the stamping gallaries to make my own.
My carrot tops were from the Build a Blossom stamp set.
A little Easter grass and a chocolate bunny would make this another
fun table decoration.
The final choice is a decorated Journal that was inspired by Nancy Amato
that you could give to your mother, daughter, friend or graduate
to hold a collection of their thoughts and dreams.

This class will be held on Thursday April 14th 6pm and Saturday the 16th 10am
Please RSVP

We are going to be kids again, making this card.  We will get out the bubbles add a few drops of reinkers and get busy blowing bubbles to make this fun Easter card.  This idea was from a swap card I received at leadership by Dina Lanzendorf I decided to add some of the Nursery Suite Specialty DSP to use these cute bunnies with my chick.

This was a cased card by Cindy Lieberman on Stampin Connections, I loved the vintage look using the new 4 Frames Stamp set and Paisley Petals DSP. We will be water coloring and using the distressing kit Tea Stain ink.  I loved this card, I hope you will also.
