August 2012 Card Classes

These are the cards we will be making Thursday August 23rd
at your card classes either 10am or 6pm.
I cased all of these cards, due to convention, making wedding
invites, and catching up with this fast paced summer.
I wanted to share some of my favorite cards I have found
while blog surfing.
This triple layer stamped card was from a turorial
by Dawn Olchefske, I just changed my design to use
my favorite fall stamp set French Foliage.  So far this month
each class has loved this technique.

This card was cased from Holly Pederson,
I love the Core'denation papers and loved this color combination.
I did case the idea for this card, but I lost the name, so sorry!!!
I changed mine to use the Ghoulish Googlies and a little more ribbon,
thanks for idea Molly.  For my stamping friends that do not
celebrate Halloween I have a backup plan.
The final card we will use stamps left from the open house,
the card idea was from Shirley Pumpkin.

Thanks for looking, Cindy

Blooming with Kindness August 2012

At our Team Bat Cave meeting this week we made a
card using the Blooming with Kindness stamp set from Stampin' Up!
This card can be made very quickly using the Note cards and envelopes (107311)
from page 160 that are just $5.95 for 20 cards and envelopes.
We also stamped the flower image on our envelope front so the person receiving the
card gets a hint what to expect inside.

Team Bat Cave members at this months meeting,
Lisa, Carol, Nancy Maggie and Courtney.
(Sorry Shelly had already left us.)
I got a quick picture when they were leaving so you can meet them.
Maybe next month you will get to meet them all.
Each month we work with a couple current stamp sets, everyone
get the same supplies and we see what we can create.
Check back Sunday to see our other creations using
Orchard Harvest Designer Series paper
 and the Perfectly Preserved set.

My 1st My Digital Studio 2 project

I am still alive!!!!
It has been two months since I posted on my blog.
Getting ready for convention, 50 shower invitations,
130 wedding invitations, nearly 500 swap cards and 6x6 technique
pages plus classes and Stampin' Up! parties have taken all my creative time.

I wanted to share my 1st My Digital Studio 2 project with you.
Stampin' Up! has a new updated stamp and scrapbook software program
you can try for free for 1 month.     FREE!!!!!!!
I love free so I had to try it out, and what better than to  share some of
our convention pictures from a couple of weeks ago on my 1st page.
You must use Firefox as your Internet browser!!!!
This was my only problem with the download, now I need to learn to use it.
Stampin' Up! has provided us with the basics, in video (YEA!!!!) form.

For beginners or learning the basics
> training >getting to know MDS2 or beginner techniques

We had a wonderful time at convention, I will share a few pictures later this week.

Thanks for looking, Cindy
