Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween ladies, we had our annual trick or treat night tonight so
I wanted to share my pumpkins with you.
I did finally get my pumpkins decorated for Halloween.
I used the Spooky Things Decor elements from the Holiday mini catalog page 8 to add the Trick or Treat to my pumpkins and  added a little bling with the Black Flourish Designer Jewels also on page 8 in the Holiday Mini catalog.
I loved decorating them, even though they look real my pumpkins are  rubber
so they will look great for several Halloweens to come.
Using the Decor Elements and Designer Jewels made
this project very fast and easy,
I completed this project in under 15 minutes.

These cute mummy jars were made be Sasha Raines,
one of the 2nd Thursday Morning class members, as gifts for her co-workers.
Sasha filled the jars with cute candies and tissue paper, but noted that they are really
cute with a flickering candle in them when your candy is gone.

Happy Stamping, Cindy

Happy Halloween Weekend Special

I didn't feel like stamping on my open night (open night is an evening that you can stop over and stamp with friends and use the Big Shot and try out punches or tools you might be interested in)  a couple of weeks ago, so took out my package of Night Owl Designer series paper(DSP) from the Holiday Mini catalog and made these four cards.  The best part was how quickly a little DSP, card stock, ribbon and a couple of punches came together to make these fun cards.

Of course I had to use the new Bat punch we were stamping in the Bat Cave.

I wasn't sure how I was going to use the Basic Gray,Tangerine Tango combo to make a Halloween card
but when it was finished it was one of my favorites.

Yes I did get my Simply Adorned inserts done, using  the Wicked Cool stamp set and
Black Flourish Designer Jewels.  I only wish my smooch ink had arrived in time,
so I could have shined my boots up.

October Technique Classes

This the Polished Stone card we will be making at Technique class this month,
this picture does not show how beautiful the tree sparkles with the tree tips touched with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  This is a very easy technique I learned from my upline Deena W. a few years ago and decided it would go great with the tall tree from Lovely as a Tree stamp set.

This is a a card I completely CASED from Dawn Olchefske, I loved her card and what's better than using our clear block D to make such a great background focal point. This card uses the French Foliage stamp set on page 14 of the Holiday Mini Catalog.  You will notice I used one of the Antique Brads from the Idea Book &  catalog page 187, we are using these on 3 of our projects this month, they add a vintage look to our project.  I love them!

This card is made using Emboss Resist Technique, Autumn Spice DSP and Day of Gratitude page 12 of the Holiday Mini Catalog.  Cajun Craze is my favorite Fall color this year,  it has such a rich deep rust color to give detail to my card, plus you will notice I used another Antique Brad in the center of my medallion.

These are the 2 cards you can choose from for your bonus card this month, choose  either the Holly Jolly Christmas card that we saw at Stampin' Up! Convention in July, using one the Antique brads,
or for us here in OSU Buckeye land you can choose the Go Bucks card.

This is the Deck the Halls Embellishment Share I have going on for October And November,
$10.00 and you will receive 6- 6x6 Deck the Halls DSP sheets, 5 Antique Brads, 12 vintage trinkets,
1 yard each of Chantilly and Victoria Crochet trims and 1 yard each of Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke seam binding . Plus 2 -  5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sheets of Cardstock  This is a opportunity to make a few Vintage style Christmas cards with the coordinating embellishments.
