Stampin' Up! Tickets and Tags Bag Book

Stampin' Up! Tickets and Tags Bag Book

Last week I had a couple of classes that made a mini scrapbook
using wine size paper bags.  This is the 1st in a series of post  featuring
these books.   The moment I saw the Tickets and Tags Simply Scrappin kit
from Stampin' Up! I knew I wanted to use wedding pictures
from my son and daughter in laws wedding that was held at the
Contemporary Art Center, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This simply scrappin kit helped this book coordinate with
their wedding pictures and the venue, as you can see it was the perfect
fit with their beautiful wedding. (Ok I might be bias, I'm one of the mom's)
Because I didn't have room for the more than 500 pictures I took that weekend
the open ends of the bags were a great place to place a few more of my favorite
pictures, I made mini albums (see below) with 3-4 sheets of 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 pieces
scored at 5/8 inches of neutral card stock to add additional pictures to my book.
The 5 different sections held pictures of the bride, groom, family,
and pictures from the photo booth. This size book is wonderful for 4 x 6 pictures,
you don't need to crop many of your pictures.

Thanks for looking, Cindy

Mixed Bunch

At tonight's down line meeting our challenge was to make a card using
the Mixed Bunch stamp set and matching punch.
We had to use Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper
but could use any color of cardstock  that coordinated.
I chose Peach Parfait and Pool Party,
a color combination out of my comfort Zone.

Maggie Palko chose Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait and Natural White
Card stock, a pearl and 3 different punches to make her card pop.

Teresa Warne went with Soft Suede, Pool Party and Poppy Parade
colors for her card.  The Pool Party color  is hidden in the paper until
you bring it out with the big Pool Party flower.

Team Bat Cave meets one evening a month to share ideas,
try something new, and spend time stamping and chatting.
