My 1st My Digital Studio 2 project



I am still alive!!!!
It has been two months since I posted on my blog.
  Getting ready for convention, 50 shower invitations, 
 130 wedding invitations, nearly 500 swap cards and 6x6 technique
pages plus classes and Stampin' Up! parties have taken all my creative time.

I wanted to share my 1st My Digital Studio 2 project with you.
Stampin' Up! has a new updated stamp and scrapbook software program
you can try for free for 1 month.     FREE!!!!!!!
I love free so I had to try it out, and what better than to  share some of
our convention pictures from a couple of weeks ago on my 1st page.
You must use Firefox as your Internet browser!!!!
This was my only problem with the download, now I need to learn to use it.
Stampin' Up! has provided us with the basics, in video (YEA!!!!) form.

June Card Classes

These are the cards the ladies will be making this month
at my card classes, we are going to have some fun with 
the new scented embossing powders.

This is a cased card from Patricia Giesbrecht,
the melon scented embossing powder makes 
you want to take bite of your watermelon.

This is another card using the scented embossing powder,
my favorite blue Popsicle and who wouldn't like cherry.
This was a Paper Pals Art challenge, they give you a design
and you make it yours.  One of these days I just my enter one of these challenges.

This card makes several of the layers you see by
stamping on the paper.  It was cased from Stampin' UP! 
I used the Papaya Collage stamp set for the beautiful card.

This is another card where we will layer by adding colors
right on the Whisper White paper.  This stamp set is Betsy's Blossoms
from the new catalog.

Welcome new In Colors 2012

 

At our Team Bat Cave  meeting last evening we played with the
new designed Stampin' Up! ink pads, new 2012-2014 In Colors and
the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set.  One of the activities we do at 
the downline meeting is a create your own card exercise, 
everyone is give the same supplies and we see what we can come up with.
The base of the card is Raspberry Ripple cardstock, and then we used a combination
of all 5 new In Colors on 1 card.  I love this fun exercise, it is one of those times
when we can start over as many times as we wish.  

We also made these In Color bookmarks for our catalog 
and to share the new 2012-2014 In Colors with others.
This was a cased project from stampingwithbev.

If you would like to join our group next month, we meet
the 1st Monday of each month.  Stampin' Up! has a 
new starter kit for just $99.00, but for June they have
Sweetened the deal with a add on package from the 
Patio Party Suite valued nearly $50.00 for joining during June.

Stampin' Up! Petite Purse preview

 Last week at my Thursday evening card class I noticed 
the ladies were stamping and having a fun time, and were 
ahead of our normal stamping schedule, so I gave them a 
challenge.  If they were done with their 4 cards they were making
before 8pm they could make one of the new Petite Purses
 in their favorite color with embossing and Bling!
As you can see they took me up on my challenge and
made a few very cute purses.  A couple of the ladies got
away before the photo shoot, their purses were also beautiful.
 Yes I now know how to silence a room full of Stampin' Up! 
ladies, ofter them 1 more project to do and they will 
take you up on it every time.
This Big Shot die Petite Purse is on sale for $32.95 (125606)
but only until April 30th and will be available again June 1st
in the new idea book and catalog.

Welcome Summer Smooches

Welcome spring and Stampin' Up!

I cased this card with just a couple of changes
from a card by Sandy Mathis we will making 
this card in our card classes this month.

I will have a product share this month for these new products.

- Open Easter card class - you can make the Easter Bunny punch art card or Easter Cross card or one of each. Class fee $5.00 for each set of 2 cards with envelopes ready to mail. Feel free to stop in and make a couple of Easter cards with us. This class will start any time after 6:30pm until ? due to my work schedule.
