Happy Halloween and a sneak peek

These are a few cards I received for halloween.  The card in the center was made by the Bat Cave  Stamper of the month Cathy Curry, she enjoys making halloween cards. Mitzi and Darlene chose to use punches to make the spider and the cute one eyed  peppermint patty holder and Lori made us chocolate covered pretzels with the cute trick or treat ghost.
Happy Halloween

Christmas Stamp a Stack

These  are the  5 new Christmas Cards I made for my Christmas Stamp a Stack, I know it seams I have used the Delightful Decorations stamps alot this year, but you can see the many styles it can take on.  I added a Santa card and the Dasher card is one I made from a card I received at Founders Circle by Georgia Giguere, you can replace Dasher with your family photo to send to your friends.

I think these cards have something for every one, I made some of them after
swap cards at Founders Circle and the Cincinnati Regionals.

These  are my Snowmen cards and use the Holiday Lounge DSP,window sheets, and glitter.
I have been on a glitter kick this year, it is hard not to love Stampin' Up! glitter.

And finally the final 5 cards include,
yes more Delightful Decoration stamps and the Ornament Punch,
and Holy Family.

10 cards (5 styles)/ $12.00
October 27th and November 24th at 6pm
at my home

Thanks Cindy

All That Glitter

These are the three cards we will be making at my All that Glitter Technique Card classes this month.  The center card is cased from a card I received at  the Founders Circle swap that was made by Jill Olsen and cased card of Sara Wills.  I changed the design to use the the red ribbon as the ornament hanger, and adding the third color.

My glitter Christmas tree was made with the inspiration from a swap card I saw while I was at the Cincinnati Regionals, I wasn't lucky enough to receive this card while swapping so I took a couple of pictures of the card, and made a few changes to make it my own.  I used the 2 way glue pen with the Dazzling Diamond glitter, and the Champagne mist shimmer paint to make mine sparkle.

The last card is a third way I will show you to use glitter on cards, we will use the Movers & Shapers ornament die and packing tape.

I hope you will enjoy these sparkling glitter cards and the suprise  Halloween Bonus card I have planned.
Thanks for Looking Cindy

Cincinnati Regional Swap Cards

This is one of my swap cards from the Cincinnati Regional 2009, I chose the Upsy Daisy and Razzle Dazzle stamp sets, Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Really Rust card stocks, Razzleberry lemonade DSP, Dusty Durango GG ribbon, a jumbo eyelet, Texture plate kit #4. I love the Upsy Daisy stamp set and this color combination.

I had a hard time coming up with the idea for this card, I knew I wanted it to look elegant and make a statement but not to much. The stamp set Holy Family and Four the Holidays are from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini catalog. I used Soft Suede, Black, Very Vanilla and Shimmery White card stock. Gold and black embossing powder, Very Vanilla 5/8 in GG ribbon , versamark, Bravo Burgundy ink pads and my brayer (my favorite tool right now).
To get the look on the Holy Family, I used versamark and embossed in gold embossing powder. then after inking my brayer with Bravo Burgandy classic ink, I applied the brayer to my shimmery white paper, rolling back and forth to work the ink into the shimmery white paper and the gold sparkles were shinning through. I took a tissue to remove the Bravo Burandy from the gold embossed area to make it shine more. I think I finally found my balance of soft elegance.
Thanks for looking Cindy
