Founders Circle Swap Cards

One of the exciting parts of Founders Circle was swapping cards with the top 125 Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I had enlisted the help of my husband and daughter, (they told me they were helping me under protest) to make my 125 swap cards. Barry ran the shimmer white CS pieces through the Big Shot, put 4 stampin dimensional on the back of each ornament and Emily was in charge of the elastic gold cord, putting my info on the back of the card, putting them in envelopes and making all 125 fit into my 2 shoe boxes. I was in charge of cutting , bow tieing and final QA( that's where we had issues), they had to be just right. Emily did a wonderful job packing them and they arrived in Utah all together. The swapping was like a grown up " trick or treat" as everyone came down the long line putting a swap card in your bag. If that wasn't enough fun we were in PJs and had a great evening snack.
Thanks for looking Cindy

Founders Circle Day 4

Day 4
What an wonderful experience this has been. I had planned to go visit Zion National park, but the one thing I learned from this trip was to say no when your plate is to full. I chose to visit with friends and make flowers from fabric of different textures, relax, eat chocolate and enjoy the moments that were flying by. At 5pm we loaded on buses and were treated to a final dinner that was in a beautiful setting overlooking a golf course and the mountains on the horizon. The sun set was gorgeous due to a incoming storm from the north as the sun was setting. Stampin' Up! pampered us each and every day, tonight we received a cute box on our pillow with 2 butterfly
charms, one was engraved Founders Circle 2009.
The cute chest box on the dinner table had 2 live
butterflies that we released. Yes I had to get my
picture with Shelli Gardner, she was a great sport
about pictures and signing our swap cards.
Thanks Cindy

Founders circle Day 3

We started day 3 with a 2 hr bus trip to Kanab the small town that makes our stamp sets by hand, it takes out 10 different people to complete the process in about 1 1/2 hrs from start to finish.

The upper floor is a 3 bedroom suite for Shelli to stay in while she is working in the area. It was wonderful to know this was the town she had grown up in, and continues to help the area by not moving the stamp factory closer to Riverton.
Yes that is me posing again, out front of the Kanab Stamp Factory.
We were off to the Kanab City park for lunch, we had lovely green pails filled with fruit, a sandwich and of course chocolate dessert. After lunch we headed to the play ground to play in the rubber stamp mulch, I know the feet are not cute but it felt good on the toes.
The last picture is this evenings pillow gift, aren't they stinking cute (big feet need big boots, they even have Stampin' Up! on the back) they are covered with cottage wall prints.
More tomorrow Cindy

Founders Circle Day 2

Day two was another busy day, We had breakfast, then checked out the gathering place,it was decorated beautiful. The cottage wall theme was continued and a fellow Demo brought quilts she had made using her Big Shot, they were not only beautiful they were very textured and soft. I had my trip to Target for my items I forgot, this time it was toiletries, I remembered my stamping stuff. Next we made our make and takes using new stuff
from the next mini catalog coming out(your going to love it). Then a short nap, a bite of dinner and off the the out door drama AIDA, the show was wonderful and the setting was gorgeous.
I received my Founder Circle Bag that I would have received at convention had I been there, it is a convented prize because if you receive one at registration you you know you are going to Founders Circle, I would have passed out had I got it then. Off to bed, our pillow gift was a copy of the Secret Garden with a written message from Shelli. What a Day. Cindy

This is a few pictures from my kids and growns up class I had last month. Please forgive me for the pictures, my camera has issues, the young ladies in my pictures are much prettier than my camera was showing you and the first class I only took pictures of the cards(sorry Kass.). I really enjoyed working with this group of young ladies, they gave me inspiration and I plan to have more classes in the future. Thanks Cindy
