Create it using Stampin' up! simply created card kits!

I used the Watercolor Winter card kit to make 20 Christmas cards with envelopes from this kit!

This is one of the My favorite Christmas decorations, a couple of years ago

my mom was downsizing her Christmas stash. 

The stash included items she had collected, made and saved the 50 plus

holidays my parents have been married.  I have been wanting to downsize my collection of

38 years so I only chose a few items, mostly old Christmas bulbs 

from the holiday trees during my childhood.

These bulbs have so many memories ( even the spray on snow still intact 40+ years) 

I wanted to protect them, so I chose a tin lantern.

I am sure you have your cherished Christmas items also.

Hello Ladies,

This year I plan to share my holiday season with you

using this fun advent calendar.

Day One-

I watched the Christmas movie Snow Bride on the Hallmark channel.

Emily and I watch every new Christmas movie and even the old ones.

I had to add some Stampin' Up! embellishment opportunities to make it mine.

The holiday cheer card was made using the under the tree tag and bag accessory kit

 from the holiday catalog.

Wedding project - Tinting mason jars with Stampin' Up! reinkers

 Wedding project - Tinting mason jars with Stampin' Up! reinkers

   Hello Ladies,

      For Emily's wedding we wanted the Quilted Mason jars to have a Tiffany Blue tint.  After trying several different methods we chose this one-
Modge Podge (gloss finish)
Stampin' Up! reinker- Coastal Cabana
water
I used a disposable solo cup to mix about 1 cup of Gloss Modge Podge  with just enough water ( a couple of teaspoons) to thin it out, added a few(6 or 7) drops of Stampin' Up! Coastal Cabana reinker and mixed well with a wooden stick.  I poured enough of the above mixture into one jar at a time to cover the bottom jar.  You then will tilt the jar at a angle and roll the jar in your hands letting the mixture coat the entire inside of your jar. When all sides are well covered pour as much as the leftover mixture into your next jar and repeat the same technique with each jar.  Put the jars into your oven at 200 degrees for about 1 hour or when they are clear.  You are not limited to blue jars Stampin' Up! has 48 different colors to choose from.  Please note- You cannot add water to these jars even after they are dry- water will dissolve the modge podge.

May Card class choices!

May Card Class Choices!

These are the 4 cards the card classes on Monday 6pm,Wednesday 6pm

 and Thursday 10am and 6pm will be making this week.

The technique of the month is Sanded embossing.

 

May 27th 6pm Tool Time class you will make these 10 cards. We will use

one 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of whisper white card stock and stamp randomly with the 

peaceful petal stamp set and then cut out pieces above to make 10 cards.

Please bring your paper trimmer to class with you.

Please RSVP to attend this class so I have enough supplies.

This is a sneak peek of the paper bag class on May 29th.

You can choose from-

or Retro Fresh $20.00 that includes the matching stickers and journaling tags

April Tool Time at the Bat Cave!

April classes made these 4 cards using different embossing techniques.

1st we did a Emboss Resist.

Multiple colors on black card stock.

Heat and Stick powder, and water mark with versamark.

Emboss resist and 2 step heat embossing. 

If you enjoy these cards, May Tool time will be just as fun.

We will be doing a 5 card wonder class.
