June Stamper of the Month

Mitzi Nichols is the featured stamper this month.

Mitzi is a member of the Bodacious Babes card club,

she has does a wonderful job,

as you will notice she does very small detail work

and has an eye of great color combinations.

The flower pot card is using a stamp from the set Lovely Labels

that will be retiring on June 30th. The circle shaped Thank you

from this set is one of my favorites and I am going to miss using.

Hello everyone,

sorry I have been away from my posting schedule, the wedding girls and graduations have taken over my free time. So to make it up to you I am going to give away some free stamps (blog candy) I am going to post some of my favorite cards I have made with stamps or accessories that are retiring on June 30th. is the set I used to make the 2 above cards one for each of the 2 weddings we went to the last 2 weeks. The 1st card I used Pale Plum ink and cardstock the 2nd was using Pretty in pink ink and cardstock.

Just Beachy

These 2 pages were made this month at my Scrapbook class, we used the Just Beachy Stamp Set and Lazy Days Jumbo Roller. We used Pumpkin Pie and Tempting Turquoise cardstock and
Rainbow Sherbet.

Summer trips to the beach are a favorite memory of our kids. We made several trips to the beach when they were very young and I have added a few of my favorite pictures, it sure makes you wish you had a better camera when they were young. I just need to get 2 more pictures to finish my pages.

before they graduated.

Happy Mothers Day

I hope you are having a great month of May, I know with the end of another school year approaching, Mothers Day, Memorial Day and graduations of family and friends we are all very busy.

Last weekend I had a very special Mothers Day, our daughter graduated from Marietta College, it was a very fast four years, it seems like we just dropped her off and now she is back home a college graduate looking for that first job, and needing new wheels!!!! (she can't drive that "96" Corolla forever), a girl needs a cool car. We had a very busy weekend, but it was wonderful to spend it with my two children that both make us proud parents. We are just not sure how we got two kids that are taller than we are, it sure wasn't the prenatal vitamins, that I never could remember to take. We were just blessed to have them both.

I will post the a few pictures of the last two cards I sent to the college girls this year in a few days. Sorry I have gotten behind posting again, just blame the college girls, 14 cards and and 140 scrapbook pages over a 2 week period for the 7 of them, so I had to let something other than sleep slip by.
