March card classes,

Hello Ladies
,I want to share the cards my classes will be making in March.
The 1st card was cased from Jill Hadley.  With Easter just a couple of weeks away,
I thought this card was just what you needed to get you in the mood for spring.

You asked for it, another manly card!!!!
This card was cased from Dawn Olchefske, I made a few
small changes but the ladies at class last night loved how simple
this card was to make.

I used the soon to be retiring in colors ( Calypso Coral and Pool Party) for this card,
plus the Secret Garden stamp set and flowers from the Pop-Up Posies Designer kit.
If you look close at the bottom of the card you will see we did a little
emboss resist technique  using the Delicate Details Lace tape
from page 3 in the Stampin' Up! spring catalog.  We laid the lace tape across our card
and inked with a sponge in Calypso Coral ink over and around the tape.  We then removed the
tape and returned it to the sheet it was packaged on, this reveled the above design.
The best part is, you can use the tape over and over again,
we used the same tape on 8 different cards

This is a Cindy "original" I designed this card for swaping at Leadership
this year.  We colored the butterfly using the Baby Wipe Technique.
The Swallowtail stamp is a very large Stampin' Up! background stamp that
is a little awkward to place on your card, so we stamp the part we like the best.

If you like these cards and want to join us, we will be making these cards on
Thursday March 14th 6pm Bodacious Babes card Club
Monday March 18th 6pm open class
Wednesday March 27th 6pm Coffee Chicks card Club
Thursday March 28th 10am or 6pm open classes

Thanks for stopping by, Cindy

February 2013 Technique class Chalk board

February Technique
Chalk board
This is the card I chose to feature our chalk board technique
this month, that was designed by Jenny Peterson using the
Making a Wish stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Spring catalog.

More choices!!!!
You will get to choose 1 of these three designs to make the bonus card this
month.  The Sale-a-bration stamp set Feeling Sentimental is the feature of
this card.  I used several ideas I saw using this set to make these cards, sorry
I just don't have the names to give credit.
I just loves these two cards so yep!!! I just had to case them,
the card on the left was by Mercedes Weber and the one on the right
was designed by Ann Schach. We are going to learn to die silk flowers.

I hope you are going to enjoy the cards we will be making this month.

Christmas Card Parade 2013

Christmas Card Parade 2013

This card was from my friend Donna, I loved the simple design,
this picture doesn't show how pretty it really is.

I love the homemade cards I received this Christmas.
This month at classes you will get to see
them up close to see the techniques each person used
to make their special card.

You will vote for these 3 categories
1. Best use of Stampin' Up! supplies
2. Best use of a technique we have learned
3. The card I would like to receive and why

Thanks for letting me share some of the cards I received with you,
Cindy

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas
2012
t
This is one the Christmas cards, my daughter made
this year.  For those of you that have met Emily she
professes to hate card making, but as you can see  she
has a great eye for color combinations and style.  Emily
had seen the Believe card we made at the November classes
and wanted to change it up to her liking using the Ornament
Keepsakes stamps.

This was a card I cased from Melissa Stout.

I wanted to share with you two styles of the Gift card holder
we made at classes this month.

Thanks for stopping by, Cindy
