Open House

Can you guess what I did today?  I played with some of the fun stuff I had laying around my stamping room.
I started with Stampin' Up! Candy Cane Christmas Decor Elements adding the tree and packages from this set plus the merry from the Merry Trees Decor Elements page 13 in the Definitely Decorative catalog to the Decor Accent Chunky Frame page 9.  Now I just have to talk Brad, Lauren and Emily into a picture with Santa Hats. What do you think my chances are?
Do you need a few Christmas gifts in a hurry,
I suggest trying these Decor Elements added to picture frames, empty jars and mugs or plates.
You add your photos, cookies or candies and make a special gift for family and friends.

My second fun project was decorating the Decor Elements Design-a-House on page 37 in the holiday Mini Catalog.  I used the Scallop border on the Tasteful Trim Big Shot die page 17 to make my shingles.  I made my shutters by running the same Always Artichoke card stock threw  the paper crimper, added a Boho Blossom wreath to the  front door and a couple of tea lights to give my house life.  The trees in the background were covered with craft white ink and Dazzling Diamonds stampin glitter to make them sparkle.

Christmas Open House

I was inspired for my open house by 3 projects I saw at Kay Kalthoff's blog  Stamping to Share.  All three projects are tags. The 1st one is using the Deck the Halls DSP and is attached to a small bag with candy.

The 2nd project uses the owl punch to make Santa and his friends.

The 3rd project is a Tag a Lope that Kay made using the Tags till Christmas set.

Stop by my Open House 12-8-10 between 11am and 8 pm to make these 3 projects, class fee is $5.00 or free with any order in December.

I will have Christmas Wish list available to hand out to family and friends.

Today's Bingo piece is the holly leaves.

Happy Wedding Day

It wasn't until this evening at dinner that I realized I had been MIA for the last 5 days.
It is all their fault - I was busy helping them have the
wedding of their dreams on Saturday December 4th.

This is our new daughter-in-law Lauren, son Brad and daughter Emily.

Barry and I had a wonderful time at our son's wedding.
Lauren's parent's, Ed and Carol hosted a beautiful Wedding for Brad and Lauren.
We are excited to start this new chapter in our life,
with our new extended family.

I have a new bingo piece, that seems appropriate-

Thanks for looking, Cindy
