Make it a Gift Certificate with 10 days to go

A Gift Certificate is always a good choice for stampers and scrapbookers.  Your gift can be used for either a purchase from Stampin' Up! or to join a class or camp I am holding.

My gift certificate holder has a base of old olive cardstock that was stamped with versamark using the Snow Swirled stamp set. A real red card stock belly band that was embossed with the Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions Folder Petals-A-Plenty holds the holder together.  I used Merry Moments designer series paper and the hostess stamp set Christmas Punch in real red classic ink to finish the gift certificate holder.

The gift certificate is held in the holder by using the slit punch on each side, making it easy to remove and spend on the perfect gift they chose.

11 days until Christmas featuring Amber Jarrett

We are getting closer, just 11 days to go until Christmas.  This month my challange was for everyone to create a Christmas Card using any of the techniques from the past few months.  My featured stamper is Amber Jarrett she is in the Bodacious Babes card club and she took me up on the challange.  Ambers card uses real red, chocolate chip, garden green and brushed gold card stock.  Amber used a technique from the all that glitters class, she started with the large garden green scallop circle, cut that piece into a tree shape,  punched stars from the garden green cardstock, she then put packing tape behind those stars and added the Stampin' Up gold glitter to the sticky side.  The card was finished off with a chocolate chip modern label for the tree trunk and a brushed gold star for the top.
Thank you Amber

Count Down to Christmas 14 days

Let start our count down to Christmas by decorating our tree.  I made my ornaments using clear bulbs from the local craft store, and the Holiday Mix Decor Elements $9.95 from page 30 in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I purchased both the white and red sets so I could mix them for more combinations.  As a final touch I add a little Old Olive ribbon from the Mistletoe Ribbon Originals $10.95 page 33 in the Holiday Mini catalog.

Here is one of my double color combinations of Holiday Mix Decor Elements.

These Decor Element image sheets will make 9 or 10 ornaments plus 3 other projects using the words Joy, Snow, and Noel on other craft project such as a picture frame for under $10.00. I think you will love how easy they are to make.
