Happy Mothers Day

I hope you are having a great month of May, I know with the end of another school year approaching, Mothers Day, Memorial Day and graduations of family and friends we are all very busy.

Last weekend I had a very special Mothers Day, our daughter graduated from Marietta College, it was a very fast four years, it seems like we just dropped her off and now she is back home a college graduate looking for that first job, and needing new wheels!!!! (she can't drive that "96" Corolla forever), a girl needs a cool car. We had a very busy weekend, but it was wonderful to spend it with my two children that both make us proud parents. We are just not sure how we got two kids that are taller than we are, it sure wasn't the prenatal vitamins, that I never could remember to take. We were just blessed to have them both.

I will post the a few pictures of the last two cards I sent to the college girls this year in a few days. Sorry I have gotten behind posting again, just blame the college girls, 14 cards and and 140 scrapbook pages over a 2 week period for the 7 of them, so I had to let something other than sleep slip by.

Hot Pink and Black Wristlet Card Set

This is a set of cards and wristlet that was made from a set I seen on Gretchen Barron's website. I had promised a friend of mine a gift set to use for a gift at a local after prom, so when I saw this set I thought most high school girls would like these. The Wristlet that held the cards was made using a cardstock I made using faux alligator technique, this was pretty fun, so I'm sure we will be trying it here some time soon. Thanks Cindy

Just 4 Days

May is National Scrapbook Month, so this is a preview of a few scrapbook pages I made in March at my scrapbook class. I even did some journaling Yea!!!! back at the 1st of the year I promised myself to journal on each 2 pages of scrap booking I did, I'm like most people, we don't like to see our own handwriting. So to keep my promise, I did journal, it was behind the picture on the 3rd page bottom right, I made it very easy to flip up the picture and read the story of what was going on in my pictures by using a button to lift the picture. Male Card Class

Hello from the Bat Cave,

The 1st picture is to show you I make a very big mess when I am working on my classes, you can see I have a problem with way to much stufffffff on my work area, so I just move to every available chair and then the floor until I have one very large mess!!!!!

The "Lets make male cards" class will be help on 2 dates April 28th at 6pm and a date to be announced in May as soon as I get a May work schedule. You will make 10 cards 2 of each of the 5 designs you choose from my 12 choices. Please RSVP by April 26th to join in this class.
